Spring 2008

It's always a bit of a thrill when winter gives way to spring. Here in Canada the winters are long enough that once we get our first springlike day with warm temperatures and sunshine it's a common thing to see everyone suddenly outdoors. We all emerge from our homes like bears coming out of their caves after winter hibernation.... people stand leaning on rakes chatting with neighbours, kids sail along the sidewalks on their skateboards and everyone seems to be smiling. It's a wonderful time of year to have the camera in hand!

The Spring 2008 Gallery will give way to the Summer gallery after three months. The photographs here will then be moved into the other sections of the website.
