Dear Holly,

I came across your website through the earth shot picture. I have really enjoyed seeing your gallery. Your pictures are beautifully crisp and capture the light beautifully. I see that you used a canon 400D for the picture on the earth shot. Do you use this all the time? If so, what lenses do you use to get this level of clarity?
I am just starting out and shoot with the 400D too but have not had this level of success.

Based on your pictures, I am assuming you are in the states. Isn't the 400 called a rebel?

Thanks for sharing your images!

I had taken up photography and started to get frustrated at seeming to be unable to catch a "great shot". Just wanted to thank you for your inspiring work that has made me pick up the camera again.

Fantastic photo! I've always been fascinated with weather--light, clouds, auroras, storms.........all of it. In California I once saw a rainbow in a dust storm--no camera with me of course. A few years ago, I saw a fog-bow--would have thought I was imagining it if I had not just bought a book about weather. Your flower shots are great also--keep up the good work!

Holly,

Some fanatstic shots on your site and easy to navigate which always helps when viewing photography web sites. I am honoured that you have me under the work by friends section. I always enjoy your flower work as that's where I started a few years ago... Here is to the future.

Your website is terrific. Not only is it good photography but it is a learning experience for the best photographer. Your explanation of the use of light to enhance even the most modest of scenes is so real as proved by your sample pictures.Love Dad

Holly my friend, this is a wonderful website. Set out most professionally to showcase your wonderful images. You are one of my favourite photographers who knows how to capture light and subject in a most unique way.

Saved to favourites so I can come back again and again for inspiration.
